Plastics Product Design Engineer

Job location: Anderson, IN

Job Type: Permanent

Off-Site Design is looking for a Plastics Product Design Engineer to work at a growing Company in Anderson, IN.

PLASTIC PARTS DESIGN EXPERIENCE A MUST!

Must have 5 years experience in plastic part injection molding.

Responsibilities include:
(a) Work with Sales and Engineering to develop new product designs.
(b) Able to design and develop detailed designs for plastic injection molding parts.
(c) Must posses a creative aptitude in plastic parts design, and fastening methods of plastic components.

(d) Knowledge of scientific molding principles.

(e) Integrate designs with tool design engineering, manufacturing engineering, production, and vendors.
(f) Stong verbal/written communication skills.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical field, BSME preferred.
3-5 years experience with AutoCad, Inventor, & SolidWorks Cad packages.
Organization & leadership skills required.

Mechanical Draftsman

Job location: Anderson area

Job Type: Contract

Responsibilities include:

(a) Capable of documenting Facility layouts, and factory automation using AutoCad.

(b) Must be a self starter. Familiar with various measurement methods.

(c) Candidate needs to work well with others as a team member.

(d) Some travel required.

Qualifications:  Associates degree in the mechanical engineering field minimum. Candidate must have a working knowledge of AutoCad.
